Vetwest Animal Hospitals is thrilled to announce that we are now working with award winning pet photographer Alex Cearns of Houndstooth Studio to produce a suite of new pet images for our clinics.
You will soon notice new wall graphics, signage in all of our practices, and fresh images on our handouts.
Alex is very supportive of charities such as the RSPCA, Free The Bears and the Bali Animal Welfare Association, which Vetwest supports regularly through fundraising activities and sponsorship. Our common values and commitment to animal welfare create an ideal partnership for Alex and Vetwest Animal Hospitals to continue making a difference to the lives of our pets, and animals all over the world.
About Alex Cearns
Alex Cearns is Australia’s leading animal photographer and the Creative Director of Houndstooth Studio. Her images have won numerous awards and have been published widely in Australian and international print and online media, in books, magazines, and campaigns. Inspired by the joy of working with animals, Alex’s philanthropy and passionate advocacy for animal rescue has earned her high regard among Australia’s population of animal lovers.
She is the author and photographer for two books published by Penguin Books Australia: ‘Mother Knows Best – Life Lessons from the Animal World’ (April 2014) and ‘Joy, A Celebration of the Animal Kingdom’ (November 2014) with her third collaborative book, ‘Things your dog wants you to know’ with Laura Vissaritis out in November 2015, and ‘Zen Dogs’ due out late 2016, with publisher Harper Collins, in New York. Alex is the Global Ambassador for Tamron’s Super Performance Series Lenses and uses Tamron Lenses in her work daily. She is also an ambassador for Spider Holster.
