About you
We are seeking a high achiever with ambition to fill this management position in our modern fully equipped hospital. Applicants should be strong team leaders, excellent communicators, energetic, self-motivated and dedicated to performing. The position will require an organised and thorough approach to all aspects of a busy hospital environment.
The suitable applicant will ideally be a qualified Veterinary Nurse with supervisory or management experience and previous involvement in staff training. However, experience within the veterinary industry is not essential, if you have the qualities and skills we are seeking. Applicants should recognise the importance of managing and maintaining effective team relationships and support. A dedication to staff training and a desire to embrace our company ideals and objectives is essential.
In addition to veterinary nursing and reception duties, the Practice manager will be responsible for
- The implementation and co-ordination of staff training programs
- Liason with veterinarians and management to ensure the financial goals of the practice are met
- The co-ordination of all practice administrative tasks
- Reviewing and progressing the performance of nursing team
To perform successfully in this diverse position, an applicant must possess strong team leadership, communication and organisational skills, as well as being energetic, self motivated and dedicated to perform.
