Ned the Red Kangaroo came to see us recently after being rescued by a carer. Ned had a suspected broken leg which was confirmed after taking x-rays . With the options being surgery or humane euthanasia, Dr Wayne from our Whitfords hospital took on the task of repairing Ned's fractured leg using plates and screws during orthopaedic surgery. Ned is now full of life, and hopping around his care enclosure.
