A vet visit for a beautiful bird of prey - Wedge-tailed eagle

Our Whitfords hospital recently had a visit from a beautiful Wedge-tailed eagle. It's not everyday we have the opportunity to care for such a large feathered friend, so we always enjoy a visit.

Stuart and Amanda from WA Conservation and Raptors provide vital care and rehabilitation for many raptors (birds of prey) including Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, Kites and Owls which are handed in from all over the state. Their work is tireless and completely voluntary. We are always proud to work with them in the care of their birds.
