Access into South Perth is from main thoroughfares of Kwinana Freeway and Canning Highway and the area is bordered by the magnificent Swan River. Recently renovated, our animal hospital has state of the art facilities including our advanced pathology machines and speciality patient monitoring equipment; checking oxygen levels, heart rate and respiratory rate as a minimum standard. As in a hospital for humans, we have the highest minimum standards of hygiene from an autoclave machine that ensures gowns and utensils are completely sterilised to avoid any infection complications for your pet during surgery. Vetwest South Perth offers a full range of veterinary services including our popular weight loss clinic for pets, part of a free service by appointment that we offer with our fantastic veterinary nurses. If you have a new puppy or kitten in your family, our nurses will also give you free advice on how to look after your new addition. We also offer pet nail clipping, just call us up to make an appointment and bring your dog or cat in to have their nails clipped in a relaxed and calm environment.

We are open from 7:30 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday, perfect for before or after work appointments. We are also open from 8 am until 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, giving you more opportunity to book in an appointment time that works for you and your schedule.
