Veterinary Nurse/ Receptionist

Vetwest Animal Hospitals are seeking applications from qualified and experienced veterinary nurses with strong teamwork skills, looking to take the next step in their veterinary nursing career with Vetwest.

About the position

The role of a veterinary nurse/ receptionist at Vetwest is diverse and includes the provision of both high quality care for our patients and exceptional customer service for our clients in practice and on the telephone. The position involves working both in a surgical and medical nursing capacity, as well as assuming a veterinary receptionist role as required to suit the needs of the practice.

About you

The successful applicant will be a qualified and experienced veterinary nurse with a demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for providing high quality patient care and customer service. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following skills and qualities:

Qualifications

Essential
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent/ higher qualification)

Experience

Desirable
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a veterinary nursing/ receptionist role
  • Experience in providing high level customer service

Aptitudes & skills

Essential
  • A high level of competency in veterinary nursing
  • A demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work efficiently in a team environment
