Did you know we provide free nail clipping for well behaved pets?
We understand that clipping your pet's nails can be a tricky and stressful occasion. Left untrimmed, long nails can cause your pet discomfort and lead to other complications.
Our experienced veterinary nurses are on hand to professionally trim your pet's nails in a calm and reassuring environment.
So that we can provide you and your pet with our undivided attention, nail clipping procedures require an appointment. To arrange an appointment to have your pet's nails cut, call your local Vetwest to make an appointment or book online.
Please note, if your pet gets overly stressed, is aggressive and/or requires sedation to perform nail clipping we may be unable to provide nail clipping as a complimentary service. We trust you understand this restriction, as it allows us to continue to offer this free service to the majority of our patients.
