Dr Jackki, aka banana bender, is our newest recruit from the sunshine state. Born and raised in rural Queensland, she completed her Bachelor of veterinary science at James Cook University Townsville in 2019. After this she worked in rural Queensland with large and mixed animals, before moving to the west coast and finally joining our team in Perth this year. Her special interests include small animal surgery, namely orthopedics, and wildlife medicine, as she was the regional zoo vet back in her hometown. Outside of VetWest, you will find her running back and forth (and sometimes sadly in circles) on the hockey field with her North Coast Raiders team.
