Dr Josie graduated from the Royal Dick Veterinary College in Scotland in 2013. She worked for a couple of years in Malta after she graduated and then moved to Australia and worked in various remote parts of Western Australia doing general practice and Emergency cover. She then went on to spend some time working in Shelter Medicine abroad before moving back to Western Australia and settling in Perth and joining the Vetwest team in 2026.
She enjoys the variety that comes along with general practice and enjoys surgery and general medicine, but she has an extra interest in eyes and in 2024 obtained her GP(cert) In ophthalmology.
In her free time she enjoys travelling, bouldering and exploring the Perth Hills with her family and Jimbo her dog.
