Since a young age Mel has always been a huge animal lover, which led her to pursue a career in the veterinary industry.
Starting out by completing her Animal studies Certificate II in 2018 and then completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2020. Throughout her studies she found that she has an interest in surgical nursing and feline nursing and she plans to do further studies in these subjects in the future. Mel is excited to begin her career as a Surgical Veterinary Nurse with Vetwest Ballajura.
Mel has 4 cats named Selina, Maggie, Tormund and Glenn and a Lorikeet Named Joan that gets all of her attention and cuddles when she is not giving them to all of the other animals in the clinic.
