Feedback From Our Graduate Vets

“Applying for the VetWest Graduate Program has been the best decision I have made! The program has helped me to transition from student to clinician in a supportive environment and with people who desire to help me reach and exceed my full potential.  The in-clinic support of a mentor that is matched with you and the ongoing continuing education and clinical skills training has meant that I am doing things I didn’t think would be possible after 6 months!”
Krystall , New Graduate Vet 2019

“The Vetwest New Graduate program provides me with a very supportive working environment.”

Jane, New Graduate Vet 2019

“I have been working with Vetwest since February and don’t plan on leaving. It’s so great to have that extra support from my mentor whilst also being able to do my own things and make my own mistakes. Everyone at my clinic is so helpful and you always feel supported. I get to do surgery almost every day which I love, plus also have interesting cases to work up. Overall, I’ve had a really positive and supportive start to my career.”

Jenna , New Graduate Vet 2019

“Everyone has been very understanding, supportive and patient! I have never felt alone in my journey as a new graduate because there is always someone whom I can go to for a second opinion, moral support or for a listening ear. To top it off, I get to enjoy work-life balance.”
