Health Checks
Health Checks
Are you concerned about the healthcare of your pet? Or do you want to arrange a health check to make sure they are keeping well? Book a health check with one of our expert veterinarians. We are committed to helping your pet live a healthy and happy life.
A veterinary consultation is a private consult with a qualified Vetwest veterinarian where you can discuss the healthcare needs of your pet.
Health Check Examination
During your visit, your veterinarian will perform a full nose-to-tail health check where they will examine your pet for any abnormalities, including:
- Teeth
- Eyes
- Ears
- Abdomen
- Musculoskeletal system
- Head and neck
- Skin and coat
- Behaviour
We will also address any concerns you may have about your pet’s health and discuss nutrition, exercise, parasite prevention and healthy habits for your pet.
At Vetwest, we focus on prevention and early diagnosis to help address any concerns at the earliest stages. Early detection of issues gives you and your vet the best approach to treating conditions.
Remember our pets are ageing 7 times faster than we are! That’s why we recommend twice yearly health checks for our pets.
